Biography

Chester Thomas Meros was born on July 14 1915 in New Philadelphia, Schuyklkill County, Pennsylvania, to parents Anthony and Veronica Meros.

In 1943 he married Helen Ann Wierzbickt and they went on to have at least two children together. In the 1940’s, Chester moved to Baltimore, Maryland, looking for work. Helen passed away in 2013 at the age of 95.

In July 2025 he became a supercentenarian on reaching his 110th birthday.

Chester passed away in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 9 2026 at the age of 110 years, 360 days.
