Bernabe Cordoba was born Guanacaste province, Costa Rica, on June 11 1915 to Carolina Cordoba. He was baptized on December 19 1915.
He married Ofelia Villegas Vargas and reportedly had two children together.
In June 2025, Bernabe celebrated his 110th birthday. He is the oldest known living man in Costa Rica. Bernabe currently lives in Salitral, Santa Ana, San Jose, Costa Rica.
