Biography

Teresa Dosaigues was born in La Morera de Montsant, Catalonia, Spain on 13 February 1898. She lived in Barcelona, ​​where she married until 1947, when she moved with her husband to Cornudella de Montsant. At 51 years, she became a widow and had no children and lived alone until she was 91 years. In 1989, she went to live with his niece in Reus.

Dosaigues became the oldest living person in Spain on 6 January 2009, aged 110, following the death of 113-year-old Manuela Fernandez-Fojaco.

Teresa Dosaigues died in Reus, Catalonia, Spain on 25 February 2010 at the age of 112 years, 12 days. Following her death, Andresa Guerrero-Ortiz (1898–2010) became the oldest living person in Spain.
