Biography
Mine Muto was born in Osade, Yamanashi, Japan on 14 December 1883. Following the death of 106-year-old Naka Kobayashi on 21 December 1989, she became the oldest living person in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Mine Muto died in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi, Japan on 2 March 1995, at the age of 111 years, 78 days. At the time of her death, she was the third-oldest living person in Japan, after Tane Ikai and Hide Ohira. She was the oldest person ever from Yamanashi Prefecture until 5 January 2018, when Natsu Kozuka surpassed her age.
