Maria Tudor was born in Sambata Noua, Topolog Municipality, Tulcea County, Romania on 21 September 1903 (claimed 1903).
On 15 January 2014, following the death of 108-year-old Gheorghe Covaci, she became the oldest known living person in Romania.
On 21 September 2015, she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.
Maria Tudor died in Sambata Noua, Topolog Municipality, Tulcea County, Romania on 22 March 2016 at the age of 110 years, 183 days.
