Francesca Fioriglio was born in Sciacca, Sicily, Italy on 11 January 1912. She moved to Agrigento, Sicily when she married her husband, as he resided there.

On 8 July 2022, following the death of 111-year-old Giuseppa Comande, she became the oldest living person in Sicily.

On her 111th birthday in 2023, the mayor of Sciacca, Fabio Termine, sent her congratulations.
