Biography
Felicite Jandia was born as Felicite Ajax on 12 February 1881 in Le Vauclin, Martinique, France. She married Louis Montabord (born 1863), and had at least two daughters: Julie Montabord (1906–2019) and Louise Montabord (1907 – ?). Later, she remarried Jules Jandia.
Her first daughter, Julie Montabord, also became a supercentenarian in 2016, making them just the second known parent-child supercentenarian pair in history and the pair recordholder for the highest combined parent-child age.
Jandia died in Riviere-Pilote [French: Rivière-Pilote], Martinique, France, on 7 December 1992, at the age of 111 years, 299 days. She was the second-oldest living person in France at the time of her death, after Jeanne Calment.
