Biography

Emma Buschlen was born in Port Elgin, Bruce, Ontario on 16 June 1884 as the daughter of Samuel and Catherine Eby Buschlen. She moved to Kitchener, Ontario and married Edwin Frederick Welz on 16 October 1907. The couple didn’t have any children. She was widowed in 1922. Emma Welz died in St. Jacobs, Ontario on 21 July 1994, aged 110 years, 35 days.
