Biography
Aasne Hustveit was born in Vinje, Telemark, Ostlandet, Norway on 2 December 1879. Her parents were Tarjei Knutsen (2 October 1842 – 1933) and Margit Nikulsdatter (17 December 1842 – 1931). She became the oldest living person in Norway after the death of Maren Bolette Torp on 20 February 1989. Aasne Hustveit died in Ostlandet, Norway on 17 December 1989 at the age of 110 years, 15 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Norway. After her death Erik Arnegaard became the oldest living person in Norway.
