Alberta Bilodeau was born in East Taunton, Massachusetts, USA on June 5, 1903. Her parents were Arthur Fecteau and Christiana (née Héneault) Fecteau. She moved a few years later with her parents to New Bedford and later to Canada, where she was raised and educated. As a young woman, she returned to New Bedford with her family and later she relocated to Taunton. She worked at a factory in New Bedford until leaving to care for her parents at home until their deaths. In her senior years, she lived at the Marian Manor Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitative Care.

Alberta Bilodeau died in Taunton, Massachusetts, USA on December 1, 2013 at the age of 110 years, 179 days. She was survived by her foster daughter Yvette Abreu and her husband Anthony Abreu and their family.

Alberta Bilodeau was the second-oldest living person in Massachusetts behind Goldie Michelson (1902-2016) who would later become the Doyenne of the USA.
