Margaret Hoyle (1914-present) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Margaret Terrell Hoyel, nee McCaslin. Margaret was born January 19th 1914 in Howard’s Creek, Lincoln County, North Carolina, USA, to Charley and Edith McCaslin. She had at least one sibling and several half-siblings – her mother married for a second time. Margaret married Robert D Hoyle around 1933 and went on to have four children, which she has reportedly outlived. Robert sadly died in July 1974, after which Margaret did not remarry. She lived independently until mid-2020, but after a fall moved to a nursing home in Chester, Chester County, South Carolina. Margaret still resides there today at age 110.

Margaret’s age was verified by myself and Waclaw Jan Kroczek. This was accepted by the GRG as validated today – March 13th 2024.
