Maria Lacasse (1913-present) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Maria Florida Lacasse. Maria was born December 6th 1913 (claims December 4th 1913) in Chertsey, Quebec, Canada. Her mother’s name was Celina Lacasse, nee Desrochers and she had at least six siblings. The family reportedly moved to Montreal, Quebec, when she was 18. In 1941, Maria married Octave Moisan in Montreal, where she has continued to live ever since. They had two children together – sons Pierre and Richard. Maria currently lives in a nursing home in Montreal at the age of 110.

Her age was verified by myself and Sylvain Grosgeorge, accepted as validated by the GRG today – February 22nd 2014.
