Cecelia Kelly (1891-2002) validation
The GRG announces the age validation of Cecelia Mary Kelly, nee Ludwig. Cecelia was born February 13th 1891 in Harper, Keokuk County, Iowa, USA, to Mathias and Josephine Ludwig. She had at least one sibling – a younger brother named Frank. On August 2nd 1927, Cecelia married John T Kelly and they had one daughter named Josephine – Jo for short. John sadly passed away on July 1st 1932, after which Cecelia did not remarry. From at least 1900, Cecelia had been living in Spokane County, Washington, where she would eventually pass away. She died there on August 4th 2002, aged 111 years, 172 days. Cecelia was survived by her daughter.
Cecelia’s age was verified by Anson Davis, Ilias Leivaditis, et al, later accepted by the GRG as validated with a retroactive acceptance date of September 25th 2016.
