Darthular Garner (1890-2002) validation
The GRG announces the age validation of Darthular Garner, nee Warren. Darthular was born July 3rd 1890 (claimed July 31st 1888) in DeView Township, McRory, Woodruff County, Arkansas USA. Her parents were Armeater Warren, nee Kelley and George Warren, through which she had at least two siblings. She married Whitfield Garner at a young age and, according to her obituary, they had eight children together. Whitfield, known as Whit, passed away in 1947, leaving Darthular a widow – she did not remarry after. She passed away in Patterson, Woodruff County, Arkansas, aged 111 years, 248 days (claimed 113 years, 220 days) on March 8th 2002.
Darthular’s age was verified by Daniel Gonik, Mark Muir and Ilias Leivaditis. This was accepted by the GRG as validated with a retroactive date of September 10th 2016.
