Sara Ashman (1912-present) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Sara Ann Ashman, nee Suppes. Sara was born November 23rd 1912 in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, USA, to George Osborn Suppes and Marion (Dibert) Suppes. She had at least two siblings – both sisters. In 1936, Sara married Wilbur M Ashman and went on to have three children. The couple spent each winter in Florida, with Sara continuing to live there full-time after Wilbur died in 1990. In 2012, Sara moved to Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho, to live with her daughter. She still lives in the same city today, at age 111. Sara is the oldest known person living in Idaho currently.
